I met Connie only once. I was in England in May 1987 with my Aunt Peggy Crowe Ross. My father, Fred Crowe, was Peggy's brother. Connie was their first cousin. I was interested in learning about the Crowe family in England and Connnie took us on a tour of Farnworth and showed us all around. She had many stories about the family, particularly Michael Crowe (her grandfather). It is funny but I have just started working on putting all of the tales from she and Frank together and sending it to all the family when I'm finished. Connie was delightful, that day, full of fun and information. I'm very grateful to her for the gift of the stories and memories. May she rest in peace.
